I always wondered about how to make a shawl pin that looked like it belonged to the shawl. A metal pin would be too heavy and pull on the open weave of these shawls. Then I began twisting some wire and covering with boucle wool (in this instance) I researched for the ideal wooden stick pin, and have now come up with a colour range to fit with every shawl I make.
